| 英文描述 | Idiopathic tympany of the large colon was reported in horses. In addition, there is a report of a horse with a contracted and corrugated portion of the right dorsal colon found at surgery, which was diagnosed as functional obstruction secondary to irritable bowel syndrome. Tympany of the equine cecum has also been described; can be primary or secondary to other bowel problems. Large bowel or cecum may be palpable rectally and there many be a ping over the distended bowel. |
