| 英文描述 | This encephalomyelitis is caused by a TOGAVIRUS, and is mainly limited to South and Central America, although an outbreak occured in Texas in the early 1970's. Cannot be clinically differentiated from EEE and WEE, and diagnosis rests on viral identification at necropsy or titers. A fatality rate of 40-90% can be expected in animals with neurologic signs. |
