| 英文描述 | Pituitary pars intermedia neoplasia (or rarely a functional adrenocortical neoplasm) can cause a syndrome in horses characterized by failure to shed the winter coat and diabetic signs. Common findings include hyperglycemia, glucosuria, neutrophilia, lymphopenia, muscle wasting, and laminitis. A pot-bellied appearance is often present. Diabetes insipidus can occasionally be produced by pressure on the hypothalamus. |
