| 中文描述 | 由沙門氏桿菌引起的馬匹症候群包括：無症狀感染；發燒；厭食和消沈；急性或慢性下痢；菌血症和暴斃以及小馬的關節感染。數種沙門氏桿菌血清型都會引起。此外，腸道沙門氏菌（SALMONELLA ENTERICA）abortusequi型可能會造成原發性的流產，同時也是馬匹疱疹病毒第一型感染時的次發性細菌感染病原。由細胞培養或PCR診斷。 |

| 英文描述 | Syndromes caused by SALMONELLA in horses include: asymptomatic infections; fever, anorexia and depression; acute or chronic diarrhea; and bacteremia with sudden death and joint infections in foals. Several SALMONELLA serotypes involved. In addition, the organism SALMONELLA ENTERICA serovar abortusequi can be a primary cause of abortion as well as a secondary bacterial infection in equine herpesvirus-1 induced disease. Diagnose by culture or polymerase chain reaction. |
