| 中文描述 | 母馬感染生殖器疱疹時，會在陰戶與外陰部出現病灶，公馬則出現在陰莖上。感染疱疹病毒並不會直接造成繁殖功能障礙，但是有可能使得種馬在完全康復前不願意進行交配。本疾病由第三型馬疱疹病毒感染所引起。依據臨床症狀進行診斷，也可以由病灶的邊緣進行棉花棒或刮取採樣，進行病毒分離。病灶也可能出現在母馬的乳頭以及哺乳中小馬的口吻部。沒有特定的治療方式，但可以嘗試進行支持療法。臨床症狀是自限性的。 |

| 英文描述 | Lesions of coital exanthema occur on the vulva and perineum of mares and penis of males. Not a cause of infertility, but stallion may be reluctant to breed until healing complete. Caused by EQUINE HERPESVIRUS 3. Dx by clinical signs and isolation of the virus from swabs or scrapings taken from the edge of lesions. Lesions may occur on teats of a mare and muzzle of the nursing foal. There is no specific treatment, although symptomatic therapy may be tried. Clinical signs are self-limiting. |
