| 英文描述 | Benign adenomas of the thyroid gland are common, and are found in 1/3 to 1/2 of aged horses at necropsy. Are occasionally seen clinically, presenting as a mobile mass palpable in the thyroid. Differentiation from a malignant lesion requires biopsy or following the course of the disorder. Clinical hyperthyroidism has been caused by thyroid neoplasia. |
