| 英文描述 | This papular skin disease is probably caused by a virus related to vaccinia virus. Outbreaks of papular skin disease can occur, often around the area where saddles and harnesses are in contact with the skin. Yearlings brought to training areas are susceptible. The course of the disease is about 3 weeks. New papules can be forming while others have crusted and fallen off, leaving an area of alopecia. There is no specific treatment, and the disease is self limiting. |
