| 英文描述 | Uncommon. Most intussusceptions involve the small bowel but large bowel such as pelvic flexure and dorsal, ventral, or small colon can be involved. Cecocecal or cecocolic intussusceptions and cecocecal inversions can occur. Foals and adult horses have been affected. Clinical signs might be gradual in onset and/or intermittent (even over weeks or months) or might be acute. The lesion is rarely palpable. Dx confirmed at surgery. |
