| 英文描述 | Primary seborrhea is rare in horses, but secondary seborrhea may be associated with several diseases. Dry and oily forms can occur. In the oily form there is an accumulation of thick, greasy crusts, often over the whole body, and these lead to sweating and an offensive odor. Secondary signs of systemic illness can occur. Localized lesions can cause partial hair loss and hyperpigmentation of the skin. Dry seborrhea is characterize by dry skin with focal or diffuse flaking and scaling. Pruritus and secondary bacterial infections can occur in both forms. The mane and/or tail regions seem to be most susceptible to seborrhea. Dx by exclusion of other diseases. |
