| 英文描述 | Splenic rupture or hematoma occur rarely in horses, usually following trauma. Laparoscopy and ultrasonography may be used to assist in diagnosis. Signs may vary from sudden death due to acute rupture, to chronic 'poor doing' with a hematoma. Splenic trauma should be considered when there is blunt abdominal trauma followed by mild signs of colic or blood in the peritoneal fluid. Dx confirmed at surgery or necropsy. |
