| 中文描述 | 伏馬鐮孢菌所產生的B1伏馬鐮孢毒素會引發馬匹的腦白質軟化症。馬匹因為攝食穀類，特別是玉米，而發生伏馬鐮孢黴菌毒素中毒。罹病後會出現急性的嚴重神經系統異常、肝臟症狀、以及暴斃死亡。剖檢時可以發現中毒動物的大腦皮質白質區域發生液化壞死，另外在肝臟也可能出現輕微損傷到纖維化等嚴重程度不一的組織病變。 |
| 英文描述 | Due to ingestion of grain, usually corn, infected with mold of FUSARIUM MONILIFORME. The clinical disease may be an acute, severe neurologic disorder. a hepatic syndrome, or sudden death. Outbreaks can occur. Necropsy shows liquefactive necrosis of the white matter of the cerebral cortex and there may be histologic lesions in the liver, which can range from mild changes to fibrosis. Leukoencephalomalacia is due to the toxin fumonisin B1 in F. MONILIFORME. |
