| 英文描述 | Fracture of the proximal sesamoids are common in the front limbs of racehorses but can occur in the hind limbs. Due to trauma, and can involve the medial or lateral sesamoid. In addition to adults, foals may also be affected; most are under 2 months of age, and may have injured the leg after running. Dx by radiography. |
