| 英文描述 | A syndrome of lameness, increased joint fluid, and enlargement of epiphyseal areas of the long bones has been experimentally produced in horses, and there are reports of similar syndromes in the field associated wth elevated blood zinc levels, usually near smelters. Low copper levels can be induced by the high zinc intake, and lesions similar to those induced by zinc toxicosis have been induced by experimental copper deficiency in foals. Dx by signs and zinc and copper levels. |
