| 英文描述 | Squamous cell tumors may involve only the stomach, or extend to the esophagus. The mouth, pharynx, and paranasal sinuses can be affected. There is also a report of squamous cell carcinoma of the thymus. Diagnosed by biopsy at laparotomy or endoscopy. Contrast radiography followed by pleuroscopy can be of use in some cases. High calcium levels due to pseudohyperparathyroidism have been reported, and esophageal obstruction due to blockage at the cardia by the tumor has been seen. |
