| 英文描述 | Paroxysmal or long term bursts of ectopic ventricular depolarizations can lead to ventricular fibrillation in some cases. Dx by ECG. Usually assocated with severe myocardial disease. Ventricular tachycardia can be inherited in German Shepherd dogs, and a syndrome of premature ventricular contraction, syncope, and sudden death is inherited as an autosomal dominant in some Boxer dogs. In horses, causes include electrolyte disturbances, myocarditis, endocarditis, and cardiotoxins. |
