| 中文描述 | 貓可能會因為感染滴蟲 (TRITRICHOMONAS FOETUS) 而引起下痢，此病原可以在新鮮的糞便或是經由原蟲培養的糞便中被發現。它導致下痢的情行已經經由實驗室的方式證實。滴蟲感染可能會被誤判為梨形鞭毛蟲感染。下痢持續的時間很不一定，通常可以從幾天到3年之久，而且下痢有盈虧的現象出現。大部分感染的貓多在1歲以下。 |

| 英文描述 | Cats have developed diarrhea associated with TRITRICHOMONAS FOETUS; organisms were identified in fresh feces or by protozoal culture of feces, and diarrhea cause by this organism has been experimentally reproduced. Trichomonads can be misidentified as GIARDIA. The duration of diarrhea in clinical cases ranged from a few days to 3 years. The diarrhea often had a waxing and waning course. Most affected cats were less than 1 year old at the time of diagnosis.
