| 中文描述 | 狗貓罕見疾病。常因不正常的飲食如肉類防腐劑含有二氧化硫，全魚餵食中的硫胺素酶，及長期多尿或厭食造成。在貓會有運動失調，抽畜伴隨頭的腹部彎曲及散瞳，在狗會有部分癱瘓甚至四肢癱瘓，和抽畜。可由病史臨床症狀及對硫胺的反應診斷之。 |
| 英文描述 | This is a rare disease of cats and dogs. Usually due to inadequate diets, the feeding of meat preserved using sulphur dioxide, all-fish diets containing thiaminase, prolonged diuresis or anorexia. Cats show ataxia and convulsions with a typical ventroflexion of the head and dilated pupils. Dogs demonstrate paraparesis which progresses to tetraparesis and convulsions. Dx by history, clinical signs, and response to thiamine. |
