| 英文描述 | Canine idiopathic vestibular disease generally affects older dogs and is often misdiagnosed as a 'stroke'. Signs are those of a peripheral vestibular disorder of unknown cause. There is a rapid clinical onset; normal strength and postural reactions might be masked by ataxia and spatial disorientation. Recovery is spontaneous but can take a few days to a few weeks and residual dysfunction might remain. Diagnosis is by signs, history, and rule-out of other causes. |
