| 英文描述 | Cats were described which had an acute onset of weakness, apparent muscular pain, and persistent ventroflexion of the neck in association with low serum potassium and high serum creatine kinase activity. Parenteral and oral administration of potassium led to resolution of signs, although signs recurred in cats in which dietary supplementation was not maintained after recovery. Hypokalemia and muscular weakness have been described in cats with hyperthyroidism, chronic renal failure, acidifying diets, anorexia, or vegetarian diets. |
